Before Kent and I got married, we were both carrying debt. His personal, his business, and mine. We were taking cash advances on credit cards to make on-time payments on other credit cards. I remember thinking very clearly: I cannot do this anymore.

I finished Total Money Makeover and listed my 2007 Toyota RAV4 on Facebook Marketplace that same day. The buyer met me at the credit union, handed me the box, and drove the SUV home. About a month later, I bought a 1998 Olds LSS from a retired pastor in Hayden, Idaho, and drove it for two years.

We paid off $147,000. Today we own our home outright and carry no personal debt. That is the part people hear first. The part that matters more is what it bought me. When I wanted to leave a sixteen-year career in nonprofit healthcare in the middle of a pandemic and do this instead, I could.

I started Coaching Freedom in 2020. Kent and I have co-owned Happy Laundry & Dry Cleaning here in Spokane since 2013, where I am the Director of People, Brand, & Joy. So when I talk to a business owner about cash flow and payroll and what it feels like to not pay yourself, I am not talking about it theoretically.

That is why the word freedom is in the name. Money doesn't make things easy. It gives you choice and possiblity.

I sell nothing but coaching

You pay me directly and that is the only way I earn anything from our work. No additional products, no investments, no commissions, no referral kickbacks.
