Financial Coaching

Something has to change.

Let's figure out what.

Most of us didn’t take a financial literacy class, and many of us weren’t taught at home how to manage money. At some point, something shifts and you decide you want something different for your financial future. What you know right now is exactly enough to begin. Coaching takes care of everything else.

What one month actually looks like

So you know what you are buying before you buy it.

Week 1

Your session

One hour together. We work on the budget and through what’s most pressing. After our session, you’ll receive a written summary of what we covered, along with two or three action steps to carry into the month.

Week 2

You do the thing

This is where the real work happens. The steps you committed to, done in your own time and on your own terms. If something gets in the way, you’re welcome to reach out. That’s what I’m here for.

Week 3

The mid-month check-in

Midway through the month, I’ll send you a quick text or email to see how things are going and keep you connected to what you said you wanted to do. No response required, but always welcome.

Week 4

Budget and reset

Before our next session, take a look at where your month landed. We’ll pick up right where the work left off.

"I found that having a 3rd party involved, like Monica, helped a lot. It's much more powerful to hear it from an expert and trust what they say than to have spouses play the finger-pointing game, etc."

Mike M., Idaho

"I’ve never had a positive outcome from talking to others about money until I started working with you."

Jame, New York

“There are a lot of non-scale victories in financial coaching, such as getting out of the shame and becoming proactive vs. reactive."

Taylre, Tennessee

Three ways people work with me

Pick the one that sounds most like where you are starting from right now. Change doesn't happen overnight, so a six-month minimum commitment is recommended. As your financial life grows, so does the support.
